ABOUT DR. ANGELICA
Evidence-based care for the highest-stakes cases
Dr. Angélica Madero has worked across Ecuador and the United Arab Emirates. Veterinary medicine gave her the ability not only to care for animals but also to understand their physiology, diagnose with precision and improve their quality of life through evidence-based medicine.
Her work centres on emergency and critical care. As a former Head of Hospitalization, she supervised inpatient care and coordinated high-stakes clinical protocols.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Angélica holds a 1st Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo and shares her home with two dogs, Nena and Khaleesi, as well as the mother dog and puppies she rescued eight years ago.
Qualifications and journey
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics from Universidad Central del Ecuador, 2021.
Postgraduate diplomas in Internal Medicine and Nephro-Urology.
RECOVER certified in Basic and Advanced Life Support (BLS and ALS), covering emergency stabilisation and complex case management.
Contributor to peer-reviewed research on canine nutrition, published in indexed scientific journals.
